There are two stages to this process: 

Stage 1 - Create the MySQL database

1. Log in to your hosting account control panel.
2. Click the "Home" link in the left hand menu
3. Click the "Database" icon
4. Click the "Add New Database" icon
5. Give the database a name (keep it short and don't use spaces"
6. Click OK

Stage 2 - Create a MySQL database user

You should now be back on the Databases main screen

1. Click the "Add Database User" icon
2. Enter a username and password (no less than 5 characters)
3. Click OK. Done!

Your MySQL database is now live and the user you created will have access to the database.
